Jack was a great man and a gentle giant to us “kids” that ran around his house during our JSU days. The Wesson house was always open to us. I took comfort knowing I could call on Jack if I ever had car trouble or needed anything. Jack and Faye were always trying to feed me! Lol They were both there with a kind word of advice and gentle guidance. My late husband, John Mayfield, knew Jack as his ROTC instructor. He looked up to Jack as a great leader that he admired.
